What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- Zone 10 Barrie. $5.80 is used for every week ($4.80 before May 1 2026, $6.80 from May 1 2027). Overtime meal: when more than 2 hours of overtime weren't notified the day before, a meal and an unpaid half-hour (109.4): not built in.
- Zone 10 Barrie. Friday afternoon on the four-8s pattern is time and a half (109.2), but the calculator pays every hour past the 4-hour Friday at double time, so on a full 40-hour week the cheque here comes out 4 × half your rate higher than the stub. 5×8 is there for a 40-hour week agreed under Standard Article 39. When a holiday falls on a Monday or Friday the other four days may be worked at the regular rate (108.2): on a 4×9 schedule tick Make-up day on the fifth day and it is paid straight up to 36 hours. Saturday, Sunday and holidays double.
- Zone 10 Barrie. 11% of the base rate on straight-time hours; the part on the vacation pay and the zone allowance (about $1.36 an hour at 11% in 2026) isn't added. Vacation pay 5% and holiday pay 6% (Schedule B), shown as two lines.
- Zone 11 Toronto. $5.80 is used for every week, so from May 1 2027 the cheque here is $1.00 an hour earned short ($1.00 over before May 1 2026). Overtime meal: when more than 2 hours of overtime weren't notified the day before, a meal and an unpaid half-hour (109.4): not built in.
