The last 5 days of your free month count down on the Week tab, with a button to get a licence (Later hides it until tomorrow). The Licence box on the Settings tab shows the day your free month ends.
New web address

The app moved to its new uniontoolbox address. Open the old link in your browser once and your saved hours and settings move over by themselves. An app on your home screen from the old address keeps working there.
Ontario power sector, Moncton and PEI

Added the Ontario power sector for Darlington (Local 397), Pickering (Local 27) and Bruce (Local 2222), New Brunswick Local 1386 in Moncton (industrial carpenters, industrial scaffolders and commercial) and PEI Local 1338.

Added Local 793's Ontario power sector schedules for Darlington, Pickering and Bruce (crane groups 1A to 2B, craning apprentices and forepersons) and Newfoundland and Labrador Local 904 crane rental.

Added Locals 700 Windsor, 736 Hamilton, 759 Thunder Bay, 765 Ottawa and 786 Sudbury. Local 721 now follows the 2025-2028 agreement, with its dues split the way that agreement says.

Added the Ontario power sector's nuclear schedules: Darlington (Local 183), Pickering (Local 506) and Bruce (Local 1059).

Millwright app
Added the Ontario power sector agreement: the Millwright Regional Council's province-wide schedule, with dues that step per hour paid.

Pipefitter app
Added Local 496 Calgary (industrial, commercial and the commercial compressed week), Local 254 Manitoba, sprinkler fitters (Local 853 Ontario, plus Calgary, Manitoba and Newfoundland and Labrador) and Local 787 Ontario HVAC-R.
The board and games, one tap away
All apps
The board of union hall calls and Games (crib and Hold'em) are now at the top of every app, and the games open right inside the app. A row of links at the bottom goes to the Union Toolbox home page, rates by local and starting in the trades.
Posters for your lunch room, and your week for the crew
All apps
Under Get it on your phone on the Settings tab, Print a poster for your lunch room makes a poster, two lunch-room cards or 8 wallet cards that carry your own share code. On the Week tab, Send this week to my crew puts your hours, rate and take-home in a box you can change before you send it.
New boxes in Trade info
All apps
Trade info has new boxes picked for each trade: pipe schedule, fitting take-outs and rolling offset; weights of materials; rebar and structural bolts; concrete yardage, slope and grade and stair stringers; insulation jacketing and pipe insulation sizes. The converter does thou and microns now, and the millwright apps open on thou.

Trade info has a Crane group: a pre-lift sheet that adds up the hook load and shows the % of your chart (print or share it), power-line limits, a wind converter, a shift inspection list and hand signals.

Agreement missing or out of date? Send the PDF, a Word file or photos of the wage pages from the Settings tab. If the app doesn't have it yet, you get a free year when it's added. The files are deleted within 90 days.
New Brunswick breaks, Ontario zones and Quebec holiday weeks
Boilermaker and Pipefitter apps
New Brunswick maintenance agreements now pay a missed paid break (half an hour at time and a half, double on an overtime day). Pipefitters: the Ontario Zone 10 and 11 allowance counts hours earned, and Quebec pays 4 days of room and board in a Monday-to-Thursday holiday week.

Alberta long-term maintenance rotations are built in at the blended rate. Pick the rotation (7&7, 14&14, 4&4, 6&6 or 3&3 twelves, or 14&7 tens on GPMA agreements) and the first day of a cycle on the Settings tab.
Trade info for every trade

Every app has a Trade info tab now: the spiral wound gasket colour code (pick the winding and filler to see the ring colours and a drawing), the Alberta safety numbers card and imperial-metric conversions.
Breaks not given, and tax to the cent
Boilermaker, Carpenter, Insulator, Ironworker, Labourer, Millwright and Pipefitter apps
Pick 0 to 3 breaks not given for each day (tap the Paid as cell on the Week tab), each paid the way your agreement says. Income tax now matches payroll to the cent, and a missed break on some maintenance agreements is no longer paid twice.

New Trade info tab
Boilermaker, Ironworker, Millwright and Pipefitter apps
Boilermakers and pipefitters get flange sizes, the bolt-up order with a numbered drawing, B7 stud torque and torque wrench pressures (Enerpac and HYTORC). All four trades get rigging: a sling tension calculator, wire rope and nylon web sling charts, shackles and wire rope clips.

Alberta travel is a two-step pick now: what's paid this week (travel in, out, in and out, rotation, or Lodge 146's Travel Assistance Protocol in or out) and the band or TAP home zone. Amounts follow each week's rates.

Pension on your cheque and the Year tab

The cheque shows your employer's pension contribution as a memo line, and the Year tab adds up pension hours and dollars, including the hours from before you started logging. A Problem or suggestion? box is on the Settings tab too.
